One evening in December 1773 a group of American colonists disguised as Native Americans sailed to Griffin’s Wharf where three British tea ships were docked. Climbing aboard, the colonists began to destroy the tea with axes and hatches. A large crowd watched these events transpire in complete silence. The Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum was created to commemorate this milestone event that led to the beginning of a revolution.
Established in 1973 the city official recognized its legitimacy as the venue for celebrating the Boston Tea Party. Since its inception the museum has gone on to be the site of a host of events including re-enactments of this historic event.
The museum features an array of exhibits, memorabilia and live historical presentations are collectively used to retell the tale of the Boston Tea Party. Three replica tall ships can also be found here which help tell the story and add a tangible element that fuels the imagination. These ships have been authentically recreated to feature even the minutest of details creating a richly satisfying experience. Visitors can explore the decks, cargo holds and crew quarters on each of the ships. The wharf where the ships are docked also presents a fair amount of space that is used for recreations, exhibitions and displays.
The Boston Tea Room presents visitors with a varied range of cuisine to indulge in during their visit. This dining venue is capable of accommodating up to 500 guests for cocktails, events and dinners in addition to two enclosed show spaces for larger events.

This compilation includes many of my favorite NASA UFO encounters/sightings that I have archived over the years. All of these examples (with the exception of the second-to-last one) were captured on film by NASA astronauts or Russian Cosmonauts over the past half-century – showing many amazing examples from different eras – Gemini, Apollo, Apollo/Soyuz Test Project, Skylab, STS, the ISS, plus a couple Russian-source additions from their unmanned Zond and Mir Space Station programs as well thrown in to round things out. The second last example is the only one in the compilation that features footage that was not taken in space and is not official-source (NASA or Soviet/Russian Space Agency). That clip shows an LTP (Lunar Transient Phenomenon) event captured through a camera connected to the eyepiece of a terrestrial-based telescope that luckily was being focused on the Moon at the time. In this case, the LTP manifests as an object transiting across the face of the lunar disc. Many thanks to amateur astronomer Alberto Mayer of Italy for doing a wonderful job of filming this stunning event (and for stacking the footage for us all to see). While the examples you will see here captured on film can all be “officially” classified as “unidentified” objects, that absolutely does NOT mean that NASA, the DoD, and certain elements within the scientific community worldwide are completely in the dark as to what these things you are seeing are. On March 16, 2010, Tea Partiers from around the country gathered (in disappointing numbers) in front of the Capitol building for their final protest against health care reform. Also in town, appropriately, was Barnum & Bailey’s actual circus. The protestors voiced their usual conspiratorial concerns about healthcare reform: that it was a government takeover and more government, of course, equals less freedom; that it would euthanize seniors too expensive to treat; and that the bill would sink the nation into irrecoverable debt, despite its actually reducing the deficit by more than $100-billion over the next ten years. Averse to facts, no one interviewed was able to cite evidence for their false beliefs about the reform proposal, and instead suggested we seek the “truth” from Glenn Beck and Fox News. THE PROPOSAL The healthcare reform proposal being advanced in congress, while imperfect, would bring long overdue changes to a broken system. Far from being rushed, the proposals that make up this reform have been debated for years, and this congress has been working on a bill for many months. It’s time for an up or down vote on reform. The proposal will expand healthcare access to over 30-million uninsured Americans, make healthcare more affordable for everyone, hold insurance companies more accountable, end discrimination against Americans with pre-existing conditions, and help stabilize our budget and economy by reducing the deficit by over …
