This is the most hilariously stupid conspiracy theory I have ever heard of. If you are worried about domestic surveillance you should be looking at the NSA or whatever brand of domestic surveillance your country has. Trust me, they have more dirt on more people than Google ever will or will ever care to, and domestic surveillance agencies tend to operate well outside the law of their respective countries, whereas Google is beholden to strict information compliance standards.

I respect privacy concerns of people; but if you have something that you don’t want anyone to know, maybe you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place. We live in a a digital age and human profiling will increase dramatically in the next century.
But that said, I think this accusation on Google is a load of crap. Even if it were true I’d rather live in a googlized world, as compared to being without access to all that information.
