I doubt it. If you look at the ways people in the 1970’s thought the turn of the millennium was going to be, it was pretty much the same thing.
All of these for Israel!
This illegal and immoral invasion was for Israel, oil and destroy a civilized country!

we are fighting a resource war in Iraq right now , Africa here we come!
People don’t riot until there situation is so bad there isn’t much to lose. While people will be suffering much more in the future, most will not be so bad off that the results of rioting will be acceptable. But they might actually try to vote all these corrupt & incompetent politicians out of office.
o i am so tired of people trying to compare this to the “70’s”
this is not 1970, this is not 1920 or 1930 this is 2008 and the problems of today can not be compared,
riots, i hope it’s 40 year olds and younger against the old who gave us all these problems, thanks a fuckin lot
Remember the late 70’s and early 80’s?
- Inflation was 12-15% (compared to 3-4% today)
- Unemployment was 7-10% (compared to 5-5.5% today)
- The top Federal marginal income tax rate was 70% (compared to 35% today).
- Gas prices nearly trippled. Gas stations routinely ran out of gas, some states even resorted to forms of rationing.
We have it so good today.
