@ocanator The Stimulus worked so well it saved or created more than 2 million jobs. the reason for another it that the Bush Recession is so bad, even more stimulus is needed. If it didn’t work, there would be no one pushing for another one,

@landsdown44 With those numbers it costs us 350,000 dollars a job THE STIMULUS was SUCH A GREAT IDEA, IT ONLY COST THE GOVERNMENT oh wait I MEAN THE TAX PAYERS 5-10x the amount to create a job. The Stimulus is an obvious waste, and if it worked so well, why are they pushing for another one? because its not working.

@RevKscribe I can’t help but reply to such an absolutely ignorant comment. We finally have a president who follows the Constitution, whose stimulus package has created 2.1 million jobs according the the independent CBO. That makes these comments look even more foolish and Cramer is a complete dud.

the government can’t control economy. the economy is run by people. the government doesn’t understand why we’re heading for a depression, and that’s why they’re just making it worse with stimulus bills, When there’s an up, there will be a down, and the best they can do for these downs for those who did not save their pennies is employ them with basic, cheap jobs. Just put food on their tables paving the roads, don’t push some massive expensive alt energy bill.

Could you please give me the verse in the Bible where it says that? I’ve never seen it there and I know my Bible quite well (though I will admit I’m no scholar).
The reason why the stimulus hasn’t solved much (anything is a bit harsh) is because 1). 40% were in the forms of tax cuts, which really don’t help all that much and 2). because the stimulus was far too small. It probably should have been up around $3 trillion to have a massive, almost immediate impact.
