Yes, it has changed the lives of many Africans with far more whose lives have not been made better. Leaders in just about every country in the world are “bribed” one way or another, including the US. How do you change this? I have articulated how the Investor Class of the US and Europe empowered China to enrich themselves. Therefore, I go for the “head” and China is not that head. I refuse to waste time with the tail of the serpent.

I have weighed it and China has forced up the price of Africa’s resources by competing with Europeans/America. This has sent economic growth rate of continent up. Biggest reason for poverty is Western manufactured HIV/AIDS which is devastating young generations of workers.

in weighing the sins of beijing vs. the west in africa, keep in mind the era in which they were committed. china’s cheap exports have thrown millions of africans into permanent poverty while its “labor exports” take jobs from africans.

If they serve no prevailing purpose in Zambia, send them home. If the US were to ship its black prisoners to Zambia and they were not skilled, they likely would not be allowed to get off the plane. The key is “skilled”.

Thank you for your comment. I am certain that China is not without sins in Africa. However, I balance that against the complete picture. In summation, China doesn’t compare to the sins of the Europeans.
The missing piece is the African Diaspora people. This will go far in correcting the sins of China. We need more Black action and less talk.

You’re correct, the Chinese aren’t the only ones with a human rights record that needs to be improved. However, that alone should not and will not stop China’s advance on the continent of Africa. Africa has a 5+% annual economic growth rate, in large part, due to China. Even now, as the Brits have chosen to keep sanctions on Zimbabwe, Iran and China has chosen to help Zimbabwe. Competition is good for Africa.
@AfriSynergy. If the Chinese have been good for the Sudan, as you say, by forcing the Europeans & Americans to pay more of what? Gas prices? Then, I hope that part about “have been good for Sudan” means the Chinese are giving back to the people of the Sudan region, & not just taking, or buying all of the oil there for dirt cheap. The Chinese do not have a good track record on Human Rights in their country. The USA & Europe can be thrown in that same pot, too.

The situation in the Darfur area of Sudan is mostly propaganda. People have killed their mainly because of grazing land for cattle and farming. They once said it was driven by Arab vs Black but that was a lie because the so-called Arab is almost always black as well. They also said it was Muslim vs Christian but almost all are Muslims.
Overall, the Chinese have been good for Sudan and Africa as a whole. How so? Forcing Euro and Ameri to pay better price.
