I am a retired air force E-6 and worked at area 51…actually at Sector 4, about 5 miles by bus. I was responsible for the installation and maintenance of the VSO (Video Surveillance Operations) & SGSO (Seismic Ground Sensing Operations). These are the cameras and the motion sensors most people know about sitting on the hillside. I worked closely with civilians who worked at EG&G laboratory at Area 49, a few miles away. I wish I’d never worked there…

@ortausti what i meant was, why does the us always talk about security? Security from what?! If there is technology yet unknown to the whole world because it actually came from another world, why does the us take for granted the sole right to harbor it for themselves and their so-called security, just because it landed on their land? come on! if it is actually from another planet it is just PROOF of how unsignificant we are,so why should anyone want to make life harder for anyone else? Nobody thought about trying Old Groom Lake road to get nearer the base? Looking at Google Earth it is a rarely used road and doesn’t seem to have any security buildings or any side roads for security to sneak up on you and visitors could get a better view of Area 51 from the ground. Check it out. I’m in the UK so can’t try it myself. Someone should post a video of it!

@mkoprc for use of reversed engineering of which to be able to reconstruct them I would assume? I reckon they could be made and such with technology we have today, it just the matter of funding and engineering them. Just like its theoretically possible to make a light saber if only we have the technology to harbor the energy needed in the confined space of the handle to run it.

and would a good way to get into Area 51, be using a desert ghillie suit, and crawling your way to the base? lol, I doubt that would work though
@mkoprc Information is power, if you understood how sourcer technology worked , you had an advantage above everyone else who doesn’t know. Although I’ve heard interviews that area 51 had some scientist from other countries working on other programs, whether or not the sourcer programs are international joint effort I cant really say, as the entire thing is wrapped around secrecy and denile.
