Internet Censorship Alert! Alex Jones exposes agenda to ‘blacklist’ dissenting sites

www.infowars.com The Western world, from Australia to the United States, UK and parts of Europe, are moving in a unified front toward dictatorial Internet censorship. Australia has led the way, despite outcry from its populace, by “filtering” out certain banned content. In the United States, Sen. Jay Rockefeller, in continuing his family’s tradition of oppressing free humanity, has pushed forward Cybersecurity legislation that has already passed the House. He has done so in the name of warding off ghastly cyber “attackers” conceivably fronting for al Qaeda while ushering in a means to restrict free speech and expression online for the general population. With Obama’s support, most of the developed world has accepted plans for government-approved online activity and Pentagon-monitored internet traffic. The US and UK are facilitating the hijacking of what has, until now, been a highly-democratic Internet. Overall, it has been a technological God-send for bringing together communication and strongly expressing thought outside of the mainstream information available on television and in print. Now, people are being forced onto the corporate-dominated Internet2– once again, in the name of “security.” (Internet) Freedom sacrificed at the same false alter of (Internet) Security. Independent blogs, news sites and online businesses will all be financially disadvantaged by access fees not demanded of dominant entities. What is today outside the ‘norm’ but well within free speech

I said the exact same thing earlier today in an email.. Sort of goes without saying but the real question is what should be done to these people who are advocating the restriction of our 1st amendment? I would call their actions treason myself!

Good stuff, I saw that coming, I am surprised it took them so long to start deploying this massive control network.

Once information stops flowing freely, all of humanity will be completely turned into slaves.

its not hypocritical, thing is its not our job to complain when china is blocked, its theirs! and people did say things when they knew china is but what can we do about that? its not hypocritical, its minding ourselves a bit, I also hate the whale killing there but again, nothing can be done.

  8. natemorey says:

I agree, that is total garbage, censor the internet? please, why are people not allowed to see the truth anymore? cant the government just do a good job instead of lying to everyone?

  9. hairyfrankfurt says:

There was a protest about this in Brisbane, (QLD, Aus) but I don’t know how effective it was. This is disgusting. The worst problem is, I don’t know about other countries, but majority of Australian ISP’s are foreign based, so you have to speak to some heavily accented “John” with broken English, and pay for long hold times to do it, too!
It’s a load of bullshit that the American government is doing about freaking freedom of speech. So freaking lame, how does nobody see? – that ain’t freedom!

  10. thevoiceoftheazores says:

I believe it’s called the World Wide Web, not the American Wide Web, so when it comes to any form of censorship by the U.S. stick to your own national territory , the rest of the world is doing fine without U.S censorship of the NET,

( This is for the war mongers in the U.S Government, Freedom of speach and expression are great things, try it sometime)

  11. knvL1 says:

i think when this goes even further there will be a civil war between the governments and hackers. at least i hope so ;-)

  12. KtBdOKW says:

    lol,
seems like censorship is coming home.
Noone complained when China and the bigger part of the middle east were censored. Now you are afraid of your bacon.
    Hypocrit.

  13. MelsyShort says:

    Fellow Australians,
Please get behind this petition to the House of Reps, The House of Reps is the House in Parliament that is passing the legislation for mandatory internet censorship, and the only way to petition them is on paper, so please get behind the official paper petition, it can be printed out …from thecrowhouse(.)com/savethenet

Satan doesn’t want you to communicate without its control – satelittes, censorship, linked super-computer-clusters in the EU, the USA, GB, spies and the lawsystem, provision of goods ( water, energy, food, clothing education…) everything is designed to make YOU dependend and feel helpless. But GOd can turn everything bad into good.

  16. madbillt66 says:

    Cheers Bill

  24. liquidoxygen0 says:

davidlory: I agree with you on this. Whether this video is true or not, I think you’ve come up with a very good solution. It should be up to the user/parent to do this, whereby the censorship is only restricted to their own computers and can be modified or disabled when the user wishes. Internet Explorer has this function built into it, but it is disabled by default.

But because it’s the best solution of freedom for the people, it logically will never be considered let alone thought about.

    ….also discussed the situation with

    British Ambassador

    Ian Whiting

    who said that

    Britain might consider

    options

that would forestall a national referendum on the Icesave issue?
